WHAT: Opening on the island of a thousand temples this spring, Anantara Uluwatu will feature 74 suites, three international dining options, an Anantara spa, and an infinity-edged swimming pool right at the cliff’s edge. Perched high on a limestone cliff on Bali’s southwestern Bukit peninsula, each suite is built into the edge of a cliff, with pathways that meander down to a pristine beach nestled in a cove, and offers unobstructed views of the ocean and the infamous Balinese sunset. The resort takes its name from the famous 11th century Hindu Uluwatu temple hanging 200 feet over the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean.
